A singer-songwriter from Pittsburgh, PA, and a resident Arizonan, Sarah appears regularly in a wide variety of venues from the intimate coffee shop/listening room setting, neighborhood party and house concerts, to the upscale dining venue and country club scene. When not appearing as a solo artist or as a duo, Sarah can be found engaged in a full-on stage performance on any given Friday or Saturday night with her band The Sarah James Band. When outside of Arizona, her touring travels have taken her to summer residencies in Chautauqua County, NY, as well as other venues in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana. Sarah is currently planning tours in the west coast, the US northwest and the northeast region of the country in 2024.

Her knowledge includes many aspects of the music, its history and even the particular instruments used.
